Frequently Asked Questions
For the most part, yes. We have tools for both Windows and Apple that allow us to rebuild your computer with a legal copy of your operating system. Sometimes this can’t be done, but those are rare occasions.
For the most part the state of the art today is the total integration of your digital home. Just about every device and appliance is connected to the internet or will be soon. There are lots of things to consider when purchasing and setting these items up.
One of the best questions to ask. If your computer is less than 3 years old and cost more than $500 new, then, in most cases, yes. If not, we need to talk about the best plan of action.
If not we need to talk about the best plan of action. Feel free to call with a question. We always keep our clients best interest in mind when making recommendations.
It’s now becoming the norm that families have multiple smartphones, Smart TVs, Smart Assistants, Computers, Digital cameras, Digital video cameras, Printers, IPods and VoiP phones. With that being said, networking is the answer to making all that technology work together.

Yes and no. Yes, the name Pineapple PC has been around in Tennessee since 2007, but the founder Jeff San George has been providing quality PC service since 1988.
Pineapple PC is small business with big resources. We have all the resources necessary to take care of any issue you or your small business may have.
Pineapple PC will take your computer for free and recycle it or re-purpose it. This is a service for you that we do at no charge. However we do have to charge $7 for older glass monitors. There is hazardous material in the monitor and that is what the recycle center charges. We offer this service in Franklin and Brentwood only.
Since colonial times, the pineapple fruit has been a symbol of hospitality, friendship and good tidings. That’s what Pineapple PC is all about. You and your needs come first. The PC (personal computer) be it Window, Apple, smartphone, tablet, or any technology, it is all just a tool for you, your business, or your family.
It’s simple. Most problems are best solved right where the tech is used. We spare you the time and hassle of unplugging all those wires, dragging it to us and then possibly damaging the computer during the trip. Then for the most part the next service is done remotely. That saves you more time and more money.
Your PC needs to be clean, secure, safe and backed up in that order.
Clean – Windows and the internet place a ton of junk on your computer. This needs to be removed on a regular basis We will show you how.
Secure – With the ever increasing reliance on the internet there is more and more of an opportunity for people to invade your computer, send you viruses, Trojans and malware all in an attempt to gather information on you and generally disrupt your life. We will secure your system.
Safe – Your PC needs to be safe for the whole family. Just like you would lock the liquor cabinet, every PC in the home should have parental lock controls installed on them. This is for the protection of you and your children.
Backed Up – In all my years of computing and service I rarely have a Yes to this question. “Do you backup your computer?” The fact is no one does. I think this is because it’s just too hard to do. It’s time consuming, and just a general pain.I recommend Carbonite and Google Photos.
Consider this. . . when your computer crashes how will you replace those thousands of photos you took, and all that music and video you downloaded? Once your PC dies it’s expensive and some time impossible to recover your data. But please call us. We will help in any way.
